I’m a mom – The best job I’ve ever had, which became an even bigger challenge when my daughter was brain injured. Learning how to fix the hurt brain of someone I loved more than life was the best challenge I ever tackled. It gave me the skills I now use to live my own best life ever, and to help other women do the same.
I'm a certified member of the Conscious Feminine Leadership Academy - Diving deep into Conscious Feminine practices requires a commitment to dismantling the toxic programming of patriarchal culture. This means creating equitable and just spaces, honoring every voice, encouraging women to tune into the wisdom within, and empowering the sovereignty of every human to author their own story. We thrive in communities that operate with these practices at heart. The Vibrant Woman Community is that kind of space. Come join us!
I’m a veteran of The Doman Method Program – This neurological rehabilitation program that allows special needs kids to outgrow - rather than learn to live with - their problems is intense. I’ve been there. I’ve done it all myself. Creeping and crawling, running, biking, swimming, brachiating, the rotation and elimination diets, creating intellectual materials at night to teach my child all day. If I could do it, so can you. And I'll be right there to support you every step of the way with my Parent Mentor Coaching Program.
I’m a Doman Method Neurological Evaluator – After earning the highest level of parent certification by completing the entire lecture series that covers the spectrum of child brain development, learning directly from the founder Glenn Doman, I went on to become certified by Doman International to perform functional neurological evaluations. This means parents can know exactly which areas of their child’s brain are not working properly and exactly what to do about it. The key to developing effective treatment plans is to target the cause rather than the symptoms, which never works (at least not for long). I'll get you started on the path to helping your child reach their full potential - which is much higher than you've been led to believe.
I’m an English teacher for non-native speakers – Working with expats and international families for two decades to help them improve their English proficiency has given me a wealth of experience in understanding people from diverse language and cultural backgrounds. No matter where you’re from, I can help you apply these principles of vibrant health to your family. I understand that each culture has its own unique challenges in making these adaptations to their lifestyle. I also understand that the universal bond we share is a love for our children and a desire to see them soar without burning ourselves out in the process.
I’m a licensed teacher with a Master’s Degree in Literacy, Culture and Language Education – Earning two teaching licenses and an M.S. Ed. degree from Indiana University (one of the top Education schools in the U.S.) gave me a solid research background in language and literacy development. It also gave me enough time in a traditional classroom to see firsthand just how many students struggle in that environment without the right neurological support for their brains, and their learning, to thrive. Now, I point families to real solutions for their struggling learners.
I’m an adult literacy trainer – Creating and delivering adult literacy workshops for the past ten years and training volunteers how to use successful methods in teaching adults to read has shown me just how many students fall through the cracks. It’s much harder to teach an adult to read than it is a child. As many as one in ten adults fails to read at a third grade level. Let's make sure that doesn't happen to your child. I'll point you to real solutions.
